As a specialist I, you usually work under the direct or indirect supervision of a more-experienced electrician, who is sometimes known as a “journeyman electrician.” A journeyman needs to have several years of job experience and education. Specialist I trainees are usually working toward this level of expertise. It is expected that after the first 1000 hours of work that you will be capable of moving to the next level with our enhanced training system that provides training based on your skill level.

Small Engine & Warehouse Associate

Job Title: Small Engine & Warehouse Associate

We are looking for an associate that is capable of repairing small engines and generators that are dropped off at the office and maintaining a warehouse. A small engine mechanic can diagnose and repair equipment problems, and also provide routine maintenance. These associates may also repair or replace worn, broken, or defective parts and recommend when a part should be replaced. Upon completion of repairs, mechanics then reassemble and reinstall all components. Another critical function is the ability to maintain inventory in a warehouse, while also ensuring the cleanliness and operational capabilities.

Responsibilities for a Small Engine & Warehouse Associate

  • Reassembles, adjusts, tests, reinstalls equipment, and makes final adjustments to air cooled engines, especially those engines that power portable generators.
  • Discuss equipment issues, maintenance plans, and work performed with customers
  • Test and inspect engines for malfunctioning parts
  • Repair or replace, defective, or broken parts
  • Keep records of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used
  • Organize stock and maintain inventory
  • Organize warehouse space
  • Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
  • Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
  • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures

An E-Commerce director is capable of being knowledgeable about relevant trends and innovations in e-commerce through the continued education in their field.

Responsibilities for an E-Commerce Director:

  • Devising strategies that harness sales-related insights, prevailing standards, and novel developments to encourage sales in our online store.
  • Creating frameworks that transform our social media platform into a highly profitable portal to our e-commerce site
  • Reviewing the security of checkout pages and payment procedures
