The company and word GENTEC came about because of a tag line we often used "GENerating Quality for Todays TEChnologies" Over the years we've continued to transition from one technology to the other as it relates to electrical or electronics, recently about 2 years ago when we were searching for a new logo our office manager at the time Jan, piped in and said " what about a puzzle, it seems like every job we're always connecting pieces together" hence the new logo and the new look.

After 10 years of searching for "our calling" we finally feel as though we've arrived, GENTEC Services, Inc. is a Bay Area-based electrical services and HVAC company. Some construction companies try to do service too and we've found that we do service type work really well so this is our core competency. With this mindset we've taken on "construction type projects" and these projects represent the "technology" or the connecting of "technologies" that we excel at. Recently we expanded our core competency to include our "Electronic Systems" division.

We realize customer service is eroding away and part of that is due to big corporations and stockholders demanding return on their investments. Life is crazy sometimes and we all get busy, but it’s always nice to run into or hear from a customer from years past, and catch up.
